Vincent van Gogh, in his time, feared "a great, fiery rat" that he said came to him in dreams. Here is one of van Gogh's many post-nightmare renditions of what is assumed to be GLORUTH. Vincent believed that this fiery rat would one day consume the world. In his later years, van Gogh was adamant that he heard voices coming from his fireplace. These voices, he claims, always said the same thing... "GLO".
