I visited Velika 7 years ago in the autumn season, located in the northwest of Turkey and in the Thrace region. Igneada harbors one of the few remaining Floodplain Forests in all of Europe and also it is the only one located in Turkey. Velika is the quite popular route for the mountain hiking lovers and adventurers. It enchants you with every shade of yellow and orange color, especially when you visit it in autumn. You can camp by the gurgling stream and witness the incredible vegetation that nature offers you.
