Ali Rez - Species-ist (Where They At?)

The artwork was created as a comment piece on the human relationship with phones, technology, and social media. I decided to name the artwork around a recent song release, “Speciesist (Where They At?).” In addition, the artwork speaks to “Speciesism” which is an ethical determination that one species is superior to another - which is how many rationalize their behaviors towards animals as food, clothing, entertainment, or scientific experimentation. What if there was another species that viewed humans as inferior, and decided to use humans for food, entertainment, clothing, etc.?
