When I was 18, I moved to New York and went to school in Long Island, which landed me an internship at MTV in Times Square at the 1515 Broadway Viacom Building. Before getting my car, I'd always take the LIRR Long Island Rail Road into the city and the subways around town. I would be listening to my favorite hip-hop albums from De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Def Squad, Nas & more. While taking these trains, I always paid very close attention to the amazing street art between stations.
