Simbion [#373]

The simbion, in the wild, are apex predators. They will happily tear any living thing apart in order to get their daily allowance of meat. However there is a weird thing going on amongst the gentrified folk of Toppat. They are actually trying to domesticate these creatures and have them as prestigious pets. It's getting beyond a joke and the locals on Toppat are now carrying simbion pups in handbags when they go promenading. Meanwhile, fully grown ones are taken for walks by their owners, who are usually accompanied by a team of ‘trainers’ who are there to restrain the beast with chains. There have been a few deaths but the authorities seem to just play it down and encourage the behaviour.
