Le lever de la bonne (El despertar de la criada) is an iconic painting created by Eduardo Sivori, an argentinain painter in XIX century. The painting was exhibited at an art show and there was a scandal, not for the nude female figure but because she bas a maid. She was poor, with worker feet and hands, and was far away from the ideal of beauty. Sivori´s painting is my inspiration for this painting, part of my identity, a painting which talks about who I am and what I believe.
