Artist Misha Milovanovich, Untitled 01 (Spiritual Eternal), edition 1 of 3. Throughout her work Misha uses structural forms to celebrate the female essence. In Spiritual Eternal, she explores themes of beauty and nature from a feminist perspective.By taking apart natural forms and recombining them with traits traditionally identified as feminine she shines a light on the way the male gaze and ‘objective’ system of naming and identifying the world leads to a refusal to ascribe agency or subjective experience to the ‘described’. Objectification is the driver of both misogony and ecological destruction.
