Kindly Quokka

This kindly quokka welcomed me to Rottnest Island off the coast of Perth, Western Australia. These adorable marsupials feasted on ripe figs and this mama kept a close eye on her young joey, making sure it didn't wander too far. She was calm amidst the bustle all around her. She had a gentle face and a hint of a smile the made me joyful. I share this little bit of happiness with you.
