Painted Red Ballerina

This artwork is my absolute favourite artwork for a couple of years already. It is based on a photograph I took in my studio with a professional ballet dancer and photomodel. The photoshoot was amazing and kickstarted my love for creating art with dancers. My last name is Roos which is Dutch for rose hense the use of red rose petals in the image giving it a slight surreal touch. An artwork with high contrasts and a feature for the color red definitely results in a typical artwork with my style very noticeable.
