CONSUME

Around 2005 I started making magnets of this figure and installing “non-destructive” graffiti on metal surfaces around town, and in my travels. The “CONSUMER” even made several appearances in Museums after being installed on various metal sculptures. This was an expensive and time consuming project, but it was worth it whenever I’d go to people’s houses whom I’d never met and find these magnets on their fridge. This was my first foray into randomly gifting or “spamming“ art objects onto an unsolicited audience.
