Rats!
They fought the law, and killed the cats,
And bit the ladies,
And ate cheese pizza out of dumpsters,
And licked from the chef’s ladles,
Split open the kegs and forty’s,
Made nests inside men’s hard hats,
Then stained the women’s spats .
They scorned the two-for-one deals,
And then they ate the cheese.
By drowning their speaking
With shrieking and squeaking
In fifty different shades of flats
With righteous rage and anger
At the same moment,
They scream to the listener,
“I am a rat. I am a rat.”
With silver teeth and bits of string and such.
