For me in wildlife photography it’s about making connections with animals. An important way to do so is making eye-contact with it. With the Teddycows, this is not always the most easiest thing, because of their long hairy fur. Sometimes I even wonder if they can see something. Since the fur of the younger ones is shorter, it’s easier to see their eyes and make the so important eye-contact. I was taking shots of this one from a longer distance, when she started walking towards me out of curiosity. At a certain point she came so close that I had to zoom out with my lens. She turned her head a little bit to the left and this gave me a beautiful view on the right side of her face with the beaut...
