Daybreak

Daybreak 1/1 NFT by Jeff Charron Oct 3, 2022, 6:28 am. Driving down a dark, winding, dirt road, I caught a glimpse of the Lamiolle River through a gap in the trees. It was just light enough to see steam billowing from the surface of the water. I knew I had the shot. I’d been hunting for the perfect location and waiting for overnight temperatures to drop below freezing, so I could capture this image that had manifested in my mind. Today was the day. I parked my car on the side of the road, ran through the chest-high grass, and set up on the riverbank. For the next hour, nature gifted me with a magical performance.
