HEAVEN KNOWS I'M MISERABLE NOW

My Honorary entry into the Avril15 S3 Fan Art Competition. As Jack and Vera set about their mission to explore the habitability of their temporary home, Adam and Avril settled under an ancient gaming tree. Instead of fruit, this melting tree grew edible chess pieces, dice and glass marbles all of which tasted of liquorice. Amongst the lily pads beneath their tired feet, the mice scrambled to collect discarded memorabilia of their youth that had floated across the solar system from their home planet many decades before. The nostalgia caused Avril to turn her shoulder, glancing back to planet earth. She realised only now that they may never return… PIXELS 6222 X 6614
