The Twins

Cascade Dreamscape Gazing out over the vast sea of peaks in the North Cascades, it's easy to spot familiar faces. Standing atop the summit of Hidden Lake Peak, I spotted the often overlooked Twin Mountains. Not exactly the most aesthetic mountains in comparison to their neighbor, Kulshan (Mount Baker), these rocky peaks are nonetheless magnificent in my mind. Paired with golden light from the setting sun, pastel colors from the shaded valleys and the illuminated peaks, and overall bliss of this moment, this image brings me joy and warmth every time I view its beauty.
