Pastel Serenity

Cascade Dreamscape From a moment of pure bliss in the mountains of Washington. This was during my first backpacking excursion of 2022 where the air was warm and revitalizing, the mosquitoes had yet to emerge in full force, and the trails were still buried by feet of snow still lingering from the long spring. To my surprise, shortly after sunset, a crescent moon rose from behind Mount Adams to create this pastel paradise for the evening. There wasn't another soul around to share this moment of bliss, but this image allows the viewer to partake in this moment of solitary bliss.
