Solitude Amongst the Larches

Cascade Dreamscape From a calm morning in the North Cascades in October 2022. Sometimes in life, we need to find solitude in nature to truly understand ourselves. This moment of simplistic perfection embodies this feeling of complete solitude whilst also finding peace of mind. My girlfriend and I had woken up well before sunrise to hike the remaining 1000 feet up to the lake to experience the first rays of sunlight creating an ethereal glow around the larches. We arrived at the lake during blue hour and not another soul was around to distract from the beautiful atmosphere.
