Cascade Dreamscape
Layer upon layer of untouched mountains in the North Cascades. Ancient glacial bodies cling to the highest slopes of these immovable rocky entities which is what makes this landscape so special.
This was from a serene moment atop the summit of Snowking Mountain where the wind was frigid and seemed to cut straight through my soul, the sunlight cast great shadows amongst the valleys, and the layers revealed their true splendor as the sun rose higher into the sky. I love finding new perspectives of the mountains of Washington, especially if I'm able to capture layers that I have never seen before.
