C I T I Z E N VIII

CITIZENS are works based off of oil paint drawings of the same name. Working off scans of the drawings - which were composed of a stencil of a head and then filled with oil markings - CITIZENS furthers the original oil drawings into 9 unique works. Each work was created to be under 15mb, lower in resolution (utilizing less colors and specific export settings) and are each 500x517px. Questions of community, sovereignty, self custody, accountability and questions of what it means to be a CITIZEN - even if it is one, in your own world. 2022 | LOVEBEING | GIANNI ARONE
