Abiogenesis

Abiogenesis is the process of life emerging from non-living matter. This is the first of a series of 11 animated glyphs based on a series of paintings by Michael Van Haney. The paintings were made in 2019, and were inspired by a few random markings on concrete found by the artist in 2014. In 2021, as part of the series evolving into fully digital art, the artist, working under the name Winterhoof, meditated upon the glyphs and divided them into 11 principles to aid in evolving Human consciousness. Upon purchase, a short essay by the artist will be unlocked, offering more insights into the glyph and the concept.
