Lilith was born to a family of noble lineage in the year 1212. She was cursed with a demonic appearance, which caused her great difficulty in finding a husband. In order to gain power and prestige, she decided to focus on her studies instead and quickly became one of the most learned women in all of Europe. Lilith developed a great interest in the dark arts and soon began dabbling in necromancy. It was during one of her rituals that she summoning a powerful demon who offered her a deal: her soul in exchange for knowledge and power.
