The Scroller

The Scroller is part of the "Beautiful Mundane" genesis collection 1/1 by I Must Draw. The work explores ordinary moments re-imagined in a blaze of colour and pattern. Partly autobiographical, the digital works were inspired by the term hapa girl which was a working title. As someone who belongs to this group, you are always straddling two cultures never fully belonging in one or the other. Throughout these images the female figure fully occupies these semi-real and imagined spaces and her cultural identity is left for the viewer to decipher. Each collector of the genesis series will receive a signed print of their nft.
