Head in the Clouds

This makeup is an original design inspired by the idea of inverting the color story of a beautiful blue sky. To imitate cloud-like formations and create a sensation of depth I layered thin water-based blue paints over a white base. Face Cards is a collection of 24 hand painted makeup art self portraits by Laurel Charleston, released as collectible editions on the ethereum blockchain. The 200 editions live on a custom ERC-1155 smart contract owned and operated by Laurel. The makeup looks in this collection continue to redefined the beauty industry, pushing the limits of what makeup can achieve.
