Cypresses

This work is inspired by the work of Vincent Van Gogh and is one of the first fine art pieces I created on my face. This makeup took over 8 hours to create and was applied with small, individual brush strokes. Face Cards is a collection of 24 hand painted makeup art self portraits by Laurel Charleston, released as collectible editions on the ethereum blockchain. The 200 editions live on a custom ERC-1155 smart contract owned and operated by Laurel. The makeup looks in this collection continue to redefined the beauty industry, pushing the limits of what makeup can achieve.
