A minute of light after months of shadow. I captured this image in the summer of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, right after most countries in Europe opened borders again. This was also my first attempt at time blending two images. The two shots were taken just a few minutes apart, with the first one showcasing the foreground lit up and the second one with the foreground in shadow. I used light and shadow to draw attention to the lone flower. This conveys a sense of isolation and loneliness, despite the fact that the flower was actually surrounded by a field of flowers and had company all around.
