#9929 Saint Anastasia

She was married off to a pagan man by her father after her mother’s death. Anastasia suffered for Christ and did lots of generous things for people, including ransoming Christian captives. She was one of the seven women who were canonized by name and died in the third century. She is the patron saint of people suffering from poison, martyrs, and weavers. Her feast day is December 25th.
