Fallen because of hope

According to legend, hope fell on humanity from Pandora's box along with all kinds of disasters as a poisoned gift from the vengeful Zeus. More precisely, I almost fell. Pandora opened the box by order of Zeus and closed it by his order, and only hope remained under the lid. Whether it was kept in a box as a punishment for us or, on the contrary, was guarded from us as an exclusively divine privilege. Since then, hope has been seen as either a virtue or a curse. To fall because of hope, is this not the best reason for the fall of the pure soul of an angel.
