Shortly after Hurricane Ida ripped across Louisiana, the company I worked for at the time deployed me to New Orleans on a work assignment to conduct environmental assessments for buildings in the areas that Ida hit the hardest. One of those assignments included the Carnival Cruise Port and Customs building.
I captured this scene on the famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans after a long day of work and just before dinner. It rained about an hour before my arrival, and there were only a few sporadic puddles left over; however, that little bit of water is all a ground-gamer needs to make some magic happen!
