Mars. The second work of Meccanica Celeste collection takes you to the planet Mars. With this work I want to represent the concept of human being as matter and the relationship with the universe. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun, carries the name of the Roman god of war and is often referred to as the "Red Planet". The iron oxide prevalent on Mars's surface gives it a striking reddish appearance in the sky. Meccanica Celeste takes you on a journey through the branch of astronomy that deals with the motions of objects in outer space, such as stars and planets.
