<p>“I May Never Get Over Ben Day”</p><p>This is a piece I created in 2016 as an homage to Roy Lichtenstein first as a digital work and then a 36x36” acrylic painting that was donated and auctioned to support Les Couleurles charity helping children in Haiti and Mexico learn art.</p><p>This homage takes Lichtenstein’s use of Benday dots and his frequent girl crying and puts a fresh twist to it.</p><p>Lichtenstein chose colours carefully, to imitate the four colours of printers' inks.
