The Colour Red

This moment comes from an unfinished project I was working on during the pandemic. I wanted to capture color in a way where I could express its personality and visual identity . To me, red signifies not only life but danger as well. I thought the combination of tomatoes and peppers could signify two completely different palettes while also finding the common relationship to the color red. I can remember this moment very well, we were listening to Bruce Springsteen and eating all the other fruit we had planned to shoot that day. I was so broke at the time that all I had was for lighting was my big bedroom window. Good times!
