As I stroll through the charming cobbled streets of Montmartre in Paris, I keep one earbud in listening to the sound of Cole Porter's timeless music, the other ear open to the sounds of the street. In my hands is my trusty Leica camera, loaded with Kodak Portra 800.
As the golden hour light bathes the streets ahead in a warm glow, I paused at a small cafe, watching the people around me, looking for the decisive moment to capture. This couple looked like they had stepped out of the 1940s, walking arm-in-arm toward the magic light. I took these three frames of them as they walked away...praying my settings were correct.
