Graduated in Mathematics, Salete Campari taught for a brief period of time. Militant for the LGBT cause, he ran for councilor in the city of São Paulo in 2008. He ran for a seat in the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo in 2006, for the PDT and in 2010, for the PT.
