Heart of the Mountains

Deep in the Southern Alps of New Zealand, at the heart of Fiordland National Park, hails one of the most stunning scenes on Planet Earth. There is a small glacier-fed lake crested on top of the peaks with a waterfall cascading down the mountainside. Never in my life have I seen anything quite like this, nor do I believe this is a common sight around the world. To discover this place, I flew in a small airplane from Queenstown to Milford Sound. When we passed this view, I felt a rush of excitement and knew for a fact that I needed to photograph this wonder.
