Painting by TutaN Kaimoon
Born into the ruling dynasty, labour was never intended for this young man! Spending his days hunting animals along the Nile, and his nights worshiping the great gods and heavens, it's no surprise these are the biggest influences in Tutan’s papyrus paintings. Mythology, geometric parity, and symbolism through shapes and colour underpin Tutan’s creations. Tutan explains that this idea came naturally to him when attempting to emphasise regality and the ability to maintain order of the universe.
