Turtle Friends #19/33

Turtle Friends - Who doesn't love some turtle action. There is a lot of wonderful memories to share from this tiny island called Guraidhoo in Maldives. I spend a lot of time diving and shooting on these colourful reefs of Guraidhoo. While I was there, I had a number of beautiful encounters with these turtles in their natural habitat. In one of the frame, it's a young Hawksbill turtles who help keep reefs healthy by feeding primarily on sponges that out-compete corals. Another fun fact about them, female hawksbills return to the same nesting grounds where they were born to lay their eggs. How cool is that !
