I've often considered the process to be as interesting, and sometimes more so, than the final creation.
I went into this project with a simple goal: create a generative piece inspired by CryptoCube#7. The main design elements I borrowed were the color scheme and shape. #7 was fairly compact, overall cubic, and had a wide range of cube sizes.
I decided to draw a cube with nothing but randomly plotted lines. These lines would be drawn between the frame edges of a cube, defined by sketching the frame out on a 10x10 grid.
