The concept for “Samhain Dreams” came to me when I awoke on the morning of October 30, 2022, my mind sharp and aware, with thoughts swirling of the pagan holiday Samhain. Many hail this as the precursor to Halloween, and it is celebrated on the same day. The idea for the art came into focus in the many hours after 4:44 am when I could not get back to sleep, clearly because the art was calling me to create it.
