Dolphin Head Nebula

Anyone could easily see the dolphin head looking at this nebula, their long noses, and spherical head, and their smiley face almost as prominent as a real dolphin. This image was shot with a powerful remote telescope located in Chilean Andes and post-processed by myself using BiColor HaHOO Palette. The Dolphin Head Nebula is cataloged as Sharpless 2-308 it lies at a distance of 5,200 light-years towards the constellation of Big Dog aka Canis Majoris. The star within the nebula, Wolf-Rayet star named EZ Canis Majoris, is a pre-supernova phase of its stellar evolution.
