Cassiopeia's Ghost faintly fizzes and glows, bathed in the light of the bright star Navi. A subtle partner to the star that burns with the intensity of forty thousand suns.
Sadly this beautiful pair approach the end of their interstellar dance, Navi is slowly burning away the ghost with it's intense radiation. The star itself is nearing the end of it's fusion fuel supply and will soon end it's life in a glorious supernova.
Our view of the Ghost is formed by light from excited hydrogen mixing with scattered reflections from dark dust creating this unique view of faint emission and reflection nebula.
