Li Hui’s expansive vision of photography finds beauty in everyday life and beyond formal distinctions. Her body of work explores a variety of different fields, though her use of light has become her style’s most recognizable feature. Her first book, After The Wind, investigates the beauty of mysteries in the wilderness. Her most recent book, No Word From Above (2017), illustrates the sheer diversity of life and the natural world, serving as a tribute to visible but easily overlooked intimate details and the unknown aspects of nature. The release was accompanied by an eponymous exhibition. Her work has been exhibited around the world. She is also one of the Red Hook Labs New Artists II.
