Dorothy Transcends 3

I couldn't decide which crop on this image worked best, so I chose all three. I intend, and hope, this work is collected as a triptych set. But, I'm happy with wherever fate brings her. Like all Megapixels, no Bushi tile were used more than once in this image. To achieve exceptional depth of color and image quality, I created over 300,000 original Bushi images to use as next generation pixels. Each Bushi has its own unique character and personality. With Megapixels, I seek to bring a touch of nostalgia to the constantly evolving intersection of art and technology: the sharp, geometric tiles both evoke traditional pixels while showcasing miniature, fully-formed works of art.
