“Act of Violence”, is Terry Urban’s first ever GIF NFT. This piece is a modern day rendition of Jesus’ Mother Mary and her crying over the sins of the world. As of recent, Terry has been heavily influenced by the use and mixture of textures throughout his work. As you can see in this piece, Mary is depicted in tracing paper, while taped to the neon television screen. The flashing screen itself is meant to depict the world as a whole. The story Terry is portraying in this piece is the story of an apocalyptic world where the last standing street artist posts a picture of Mary over a distressed TV screen.
