Rumination VI is one of six artworks comprising the Rumination collection by Alvin Mak. Rumination is a series of generative video artworks that explore the process of overthinking. Abstract images and photos are processed with 3D geometric data to create a rich, moving composition in motion. Complex thoughts are assembled then taken apart repeatedly. Sometimes the process progresses to an idea, other times it ends up back where it started. "The mind takes a swim in a sea of information. It holds onto a dozen pieces of data, hoping to put together a full picture. But the picture is constantly changing and result in a perpetual information-truth-time struggle." - Alvin Mak
