"Geometric incidence" refers to the relationship between two geometric shapes when they intersect at a certain angle or point. In physics and optics, it often refers to the angle at which light or other radiation hits a surface or passes through an object. The angle of incidence is an important concept in determining how light or radiation is reflected, refracted or absorbed.
