In his new body of work Reyle explores the medium of photography. The images, taken in urban environments during the night, depict abstract, colorful light compositions. Captured while using long exposure times, the flashy advertisements, street signs and other artificial lights dissolve into pure beams of color, disguising their original function. Similarly to his neon installations, Reyle uses the medium of light to draw in space - a kind of gestural painting using a camera and an artificial light source.
