Los Angeles in the 60s was the site of a vibrant live music scene. Bands as Doors,The Birds, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa often performed in trending clubs located in the Sunset Strip. David Hockney visited Los Angeles in 1963 and he moved there just one year later.  From the beginning he was attracted by the tons of swimming pools in that area.  In the 60s Pop art was on trend and Hockney was one of the big artists involved in It. Pop Art was a style of art that was bright, full of colors. Hockney painting pools in villas highlighted the L.A. glitz but what was hidden behind that beautiful reality?......
