Friends in Neverland never grow up.

I was drawn to Peter Pan because of its celebration of non-conformity, self-discovery and freedom from society norms. Recently I realized that a core theme of nearly all of my art is a focus on disenfranchised and societally rejected people. I kept repeating the specific themes over and over, and it finally dawned that the reason why is that they all share that common thread: Non-gender-conforming, racial minorities, overweight people, among others.
