Blue Sky Magnolia

This first painting of the Spring season and this collection. I waited a long cold winter to see the beginning of color and my magnolia shrub didn't fail. The show began with little slivers of deep purple on bare branches and each day there was a little more color, however there are no green leaves. It is the beginning of the Magnolia magic.
