Ashes

An academic work taken on the Island of Corsica, France in 2017. Fires has turned to ashes part of the landscape. Nothing but scorched twigs, heat, dust and the corpses of animals that hadn't escaped the inferno. The juxtaposition of the nude with it's environment often found in my work shows at the same time our strenght as well as our vulnerability but especially our inability to be in harmony with something that we are an intrinsical part of; nature. 6000x4000 pixels Limited edition x/30
